Please allow 12 weeks for production of your gown. (While it may arrive sooner, 12 weeks is recommended).  You will also need to leave 4 weeks or so for your alterations person to have time to fit your gown to your figure.

Rush orders - Please contact us to see if we can fill a rush order for you - this will depend on the amount of work we have in progress at the time. 

Skirt Length:

All gowns are cut with a length of 45 inches from the natural waistline, please see the measurement page.  All gowns may be ordered in different lengths, either longer or shorter. Please be sure to note the desired finished length on the order form.  Please be sure you have included the height of your shoes.  When in doubt, order the gown too long, it can always be shortened, but not made longer.  Carter Creations assumes no responsibility for gowns ordered with an incorrect length.  As each gown will hang differently on each person, assume you will need to have the gown hemmed.

All gowns require payment before the gown will be put into production.

We will ship to any location.  Please supply an address where someone will be present to accept the gown.  Please contact us for shipping rates to your location.

The cost of each gown as shown will be listed with each photo page. Any variations in the design you desire will result in higher cost. Also any changes in the fabrication may result in higher costs.  (See Fabrics, colors and swatches)  Special size considerations (custom adjustments for large bust, extra length or special needs) will result in higher cost.

Uncomfortable with Ordering a Dress "Sight Unseen":

You can view our current instock sample first. The dress sent to you may not be in your size, but you will be able to view the fine craftsmanship for yourself this way. For ordering the in house sample, the deposit should be 1/2 the list cost of the dress on the web site, plus a  $150.00 charge. The deposit will be refundable upon return of the gown, unless evidence of wear or dry cleaning or damage of any kind; the deposit is then forfeit. The gown must be returned with in 14 days of it's delivery and must be returned in it's original carton and packing materials and shipped in the same manner in which it was received.  Failure to do so will result in the forfeit of your deposit. Return shipping is the responsibility of the customer. The $150.00 charge is not refundable, but may be applied to the purchase of your gown if the order is placed within 30 days of the return of the in house sample.
