Carter Creations, founded in Austin Texas in 1985 by Linda Carter, is a couture house modeled upon the European Couture Houses of the early 20th Century.

All our gowns are designed “in house” and each order is lovingly and skillfully created for you by one talented dressmaker/seamstress under the watchful eye of the designer. Our gowns are hand crafted using time honored couture techniques less commonly used in today’s mass produced market.They are of first quality fabrics, most are 100% silk with silk linings. All seams are finished and most garments are hand finished. All beads and laces are also hand applied.

We will always choose the method of construction best suited to produce the highest quality finished garment - not the fastest or most streamlined production methods.
