About the Artist
A graduate of Rutgers University and a former employee of the Simplicity Pattern Co in NYC, Linda moved to Austin in 1982, establishing Carter Creations in 1985. Linda has created hundreds of gowns and costumes over the years, including a dress for Ann Richards, the former governor of Texas. Linda has taught sewing and pattern making at multiple locations in Austin.
